The Receiver of Taxes is responsible for the collection of over 10,000 Tax bills.  All powers and duties of the Receiver are defined in the NYS Real Property Tax Law.

Receiving your Tax Bills

Taxpayers should receive their tax bill the first week of January.  If you do not receive please call or go online, select pay bill, pay taxes.  See links below for bills and receipts.
Failure to receive a property tax bill does not relieve the taxpayer of the responsibility to pay tax bill or any resulting fees dues at the time of payment, Real Property Tax Law 992.

December 30th

Property tax bills are mailed

January 1st -31st

Payments collected without penalty

February 1st- 28th

1% penalty

March 1st- 31st

2% penalty

Payments will be accepted in person, by mail or drop box at
