What's the difference between Dial-A-Bus and Shuttle Bus?

Our Dial-A-Bus is a transportation system which requires a reservation by calling during office hours, preferably 2-5 days ahead of time. This service runs from Monday through Saturday.

Our Shuttle service does not require a reservation. Simply wait at the stop closest to where you are located and the bus will come. The service runs from Monday through Friday.

In the case of a Monday holiday, reservations for Tuesday must be made by the previous Friday.

You must speak to dispatch to make a reservation or use the online reservation service. Reservations will not be accepted by voicemail.

Getting Ready for your Ride

We want you to have a positive experience with the Dial-A-Bus so please be ready to board the bus 5 minuets before arrival time. The bus will occasionally arrive earlier than your scheduled pick up time so please be ready a few minutes earlier than the times given. Please be patient if our drivers are not arriving to you immediately since accidents, traffic, weather, and other situations can cause drivers to run late. Have your money ready to hand to the driver upon boarding the bus. Please have exact change.

Please wait for the bus in an area where you can see the bus and where the driver can see you. The driver will only wait 3 minutes for you to come out before continuing to the next customer.

Dial-A-Bus is a shared ride so you may have to ride on the bus awhile to enable the driver to transport other passengers.

Delays & Closings

If the weather is bad, we will take the bus off the road.  When we are delayed or closed, there will be a message on our voicemail.

Additional Information

If you are unable to keep your reservation, call the Office as soon as possible, preferably the day before which enables us to schedule other riders.  We understand that occasionally circumstances arise which require you to cancel your ride the same day but please call at least 2 hours prior to your scheduled pick up time to ensure that the driver receives the message canceling your ride for that day. PLEASE SEE THE  "NO SHOW AND CANCELLATION POLICY."

Any changes to your ride must be done through the office and can only be accommodated if it does NOT interfere with the driver's schedule or route. Same day changes are permitted only as the schedule allows.
